Scale Modes Explained
The tool supports interactive scaling to help you size assets appropriately during placement. There are two main scale modes:
Drag Scale Mode
Purpose: Changes the asset’s scale based on the distance you drag.
Ideal For: When you want precise control over the asset size while placing.
Key Settings:
Drag Scale Factor: Determines how sensitive the scale is to your drag distance.
Clamped Scale Range: Sets the minimum and maximum scale limits to prevent extreme values.
Random Scale Mode
Purpose: Automatically assigns a random scale to the asset.
Ideal For: Creating variation in asset sizes without manual adjustments.
Key Settings:
Random Scale Range: Define the lower and upper limits for random scaling.
Override Options: Optionally use asset-specific scaling values instead of the default.
Select the appropriate scale mode in the settings panel to fine-tune how assets are resized during placement.
